Simplifying annulment in the Philippines
House Bill 3952 (An Act Recognizing Spousal Violence, Infidelity and Abandonment as Presumptive Psychological Incapacity Constituting a Ground for the Annulment of Marriage) authored by Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares was created hoping that it will make annulment more accessible even to poor couples. As compared to a 10-year renewable marriage contract, I preferred this kind of bill in resolving troubled marriages. Under HB 3952, infidelity, abandonment or spousal violence is presumed indications of psychological incapacity. On the other hand, Atty. Evalyn Ursua disagrees and such is disputable by presenting contrary evidence.

A Day of Celebration
While at the ground level we saw this Magician’s Festival Show with The Story Circle free of admission. We sat for some time and watched the first 2 performers. Before the show starts, kids got to try this BUNGEE FUN for 120 pesos for 3 minute exposure. We left before 4 p.m. to proceed at BATTLE STRIKERS booth for the kids’ elimination. It must be their lucky day because the 2 of them got qualified to join the grand finals on October 30 at the SM MALL OF ASIA. Our last stop is at BREAD TALK selling different pieces of bread and every piece looks yummy.
Family decided to have dinner somewhere else so we pick the place near home. At MONTALBAN TOWN CENTER, there’s this family favorite SLICE N’ DICE. Thank God I don’t need to cook at home coz I am really so tired shopping and walking.
Our wedding anniversary celebration is so memorable coz we did a lot of things and enjoy the day with each other. We’re all looking forward on the next family’s day out. We all easily fell asleep after minutes of being home. Click here for the complete pictures.

Update on Roxas-Sanchez nuptial
While listening to DZMM as I wash the dishes around past 9am, I heard Ted Failon interviewing his longtime radio partner Korina Sanchez in their program “Tambalang Failon at Sanchez.” The veteran broadcaster Sanchez came over the program to clear something about her upcoming wedding with Liberal Party (LP) vice-presidentiable Senator Mar Roxas.
Sanchez said that the wedding is on the go on October 27, 3:00pm, at Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City. What was withdrawn in the wedding was the reception alone which was intended to be held in Araneta Coliseum. The cost of the reception (food, arrangements, guest artists, etc.) will be donated to different charity groups such as Caritas Manila, the Philippine National Red Cross, Sagip Kapamilya of ABS-CBN and Kapuso Foundation of GMA-7, among others. These are the groups helping the victims of Ondoy and Pepeng. There will be a private and simple wedding reception at Senator Roxas’ home for the entourage, relatives and close friends.

Judy Ann & Ryan Agoncillo's Unchanging Love
The Judy Ann and Ryan wedding special entitled “Unchanging Love” will be shown at ABS-CBN this coming Sunday night (May 17) at 9:30pm and the follow up on May 24.
Although the wedding was done in very silent and private affair I am expecting that they will allow their Network to have a special show for that and I was right. The couple is only after on the sanctity and solemnity of the ceremony and as we saw after the special day were interviews, photos and videos of said wedding of the year proliferated in the tri-media.
Congratulations to Judy Ann and Ryan for having achieved their dreamed wedding. Best Wishes too for the long road ahead of you as husband and wife.

Luli Arroyo marries Luigi Bernas in Tagaytay
While the world is buzzing about updates on the ongoing 2008 US presidential election, PGMA’s daughter Evangelina Lourdes “Luli” Macapagal-Arroyo chose to tie the knot on the same day with J. Aloysius “Luigi” Bernas in a solemn and private wedding held at St. Scholastica’s convent and retreat house in Tagaytay City. Reception followed within the compound of the convent.
Luli has always been low key and media shy. She refuses to be in the limelight (being the First Daughter) and instead prefers to work in non-government organizations that pursue her advocacy, the environment. Her groom was known to high society as an investment banker and NGO worker, and nephew of the constitutionalist Fr. Joaquin Bernas.
