Vote for Jessica Sanchez on AI11

Very far from the recent news in the Impeachment Court that Chief Justice Corona will now be presented as defense team last witness on Tuesday, Filipinos and Mexicans around the world are so happy for Jessica Sanchez for making it on American Idol Top 3 finalists.

If we could only vote from here (Philippines), you’re a sure winner already Jessica. But despite of that we whole heartedly believed that many people in America saw how amazing your voice was. I will remember the songs “I Will Always Love You,” “You are so Beautiful” and the one you sang while sitting in the piano. You are really phenomenal. I really felt those songs and made me love more your singing prowess as I watched the replay. AI judges made the right thing on saving you.

For me, it’s between Jessica and Joshua on the Top 2 but of course with Jessica as the American Idol for Season 11.

Ellen DeGeneres on American Idol Season 9

It is official: Ellen DeGeneres will replace Paula Abdul in the “American Idol” family. Her debut on the panel will be on February 9 and she appears in a series of promotional photos for the competition so there’s truly no turning back. American Idol premieres on January 12 and will begin again its search for the next Kris Allen, Adam Lambert or Carrie Underwood.

Kris Allen wins American Idol title

The American Idol Season 8 is over and Kris Allen from Arkansas won the title. Allen seems to disbelieve hearing Ryan Seacrest mentioning his name as the winner. Well he seems to be the underdog as compared to Adam Lambert’s commanding vocal range and stage presence plus the judges’ adoration over him but personally I still prefer Kris Allen for the title. I do not like high notes and pitchy voice of Adam plus his music. On the other hand, Allen’s use of piano and guitar while singing is a plus for me aside from the fact that he sang great songs. He is such a good looking guy too but taken already, ouch!

More of the finale here.

American Idol's 4th judge Kara DioGuardi

The Grammy-nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi will be the fourth judge to sit alongside Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson when the eight season of American Idol premieres in January. Some of DioGuardi’s songs have been recorded by Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Faith Hill and Pink to name some.

She looks lovely and being one of America’s best songwriters I bet the contestants on the eight season will have a tough time proving themselves plus the presence of the ever famous Simon Cowell. I am looking forward for the brand new season of American Idol and see those who will triumph in the elimination round among thousands and tons of people who will register.
