Internet forms part of people’s lives from all walks of life. For a full time housewife and a blogger like me going online is one ordinary task I have in my ever day list. For sure streaming my favorite HD movies, games for my kids and more will be a lot easier and fast. With the help of the new phatband technology services like these are not far behind and they can even surpass internet user’s expectations in every inch of preferences.

Currently, we are using DSL and I am completely frustrated. I may not be a techie person but I guess the cable internet technology will be a lot satisfying. Can you bring Ultra60 Mbps here Charter? It is hard dealing with just a 1-5 Mbps service I have right now and your Ultra60 Mbps will be a great Christmas present.

Monetizing a blog

The personal blog is the kind of blog mostly maintained by millions of bloggers like me around the world. Sometimes it is good to know that we have a ready outlet to absorb things we have in our mind or heart, good or bad. In writing we can express ourselves and sometimes receive helpful comments or appreciation on something good we share to them. I maintained several blogs and I could say I enjoy blogging so much. Thanks to a dear friend Che for her patience and unselfish effort in teaching me.

Secondary issue why a full time housewife like me turns into blogging on spare time is because I well understood that I can monetize my blogs. Sweet deal, isn’t it? While at home, I can take care of my kids and hubby, do the chores and earn on my spare time. I know it sounds like pretty hard to do those things on a daily basis but hey I’m a supermom. LOL. For me it is very important that each member of the family does his/her share (above the best if possible) for the welfare of it.

There are many ways to monetize a blog like posting banners or widgets, pay per click, Google adsense, paid post, commissioning, etc. I monetize my blogs in several ways and one way is getting paid to blog just like most bloggers are in too. What is your favorite perfume?

I do love perfume and my personal favorite is “Ananya” from The Body Shop. This perfume oil came us a birthday gift to me by hubby and since then I switched to it. Why? I am trapped with its smooth scent that really never leaves my body easily. The fragrance is so soft yet inviting. After shower, I towel dry my body and apply it. It is very practical because I only need small amount of it to cover my target area and presto I feel great and smell great the whole day.

As compared to body splash or spray perfume, I preferred oil perfumes like Ananya. I came across perfume blog on the net featuring reviews about different perfumes like TalkPerfume.com and I find it helpful and informative to perfume lovers like me. I might be deeply in love with Ananya but I am open to try others out of my curiosity.

Housewife @ Work is back!!!

Hello my dear friends and visitors! First and foremost, I want to apologize for not updating my blog. I went to several activities of my kids, got sick, household preparations for the holidays and quite hard financial dealings for the business of my parents. Thank you that despite of my temporary absence you’re always there to drop by, leave your comments, invites, and more.

Now that I am physically and mentally adjusted again (hehehe!), I would do my best to give you more interesting articles as I could. Some missing articles for the month of November will be filled by Commission Junction advertisers for your reference.

Today and onwards, Housewife @ Work will give you articles for your reading pleasure and of course recipes for you to try on. Also, I am working with my webmaster since I indexed my blog WITH WWW instead of NON-WWW. I thought that would not have any effect but I am wrong. Last October 11, I requested Google for a NON-WWW as my preferred domain to match it with my blogspot account and it was granted late November. Now, Housewife @ Work was indexed twice (WITH WWW and NON-WWW) so I am still thinking of how to handle it correctly this time. Google gave back my Page Rank - PR3

I was just about to check for an important email around 10am today when I saw in my Google toolbar that Housewife @ Work has a rank. At first, I ignored it coz I thought it was an error just like before. I refreshed the homepage and the rank did appear again. Out of curiosity I decided to check on my Page Rank and to my surprise it was indeed real. I regained my lost PR3.

Last July 6, I lost my Page Rank and since then I seldom got opportunities. Well I guess that was a punishment to me from Google. While busy with my paid posts, I seldom did non-paid posts and after 2 months I lost my beloved Page Rank. Together with hubby, we did some research about Page Rank articles and we found some in Bloggers Review, WebProNews and HighResults to name some.

It is really hard to comprehend the ways and means in getting a Page Rank, which is important to bloggers who are doing paid blogging stuff, but as my friends told me just keep on blogging and it will be given back to me. So that day is today and to Google thanks so much.
