"Minute to Win It" Philippines

If you were able to watch the US “Minute to Win It” game show, I’m sure Filipinos will be excited to be part of the Philippine version of it. Me and my 2 kids enjoy watching the different challenges of the game show and even eager to try it at home. The first few challenges might seem easy as it gradually increasing in difficulty and prizes. Practice, approach and tactics of the fortunate contestant will eventually enrich him or her with Php 1 million.

Challenges include fanning three raw eggs with a pizza box into a pre-designated area on the other side of the stage, stacking eight octagon bolts on top of each other using a barbecue stick to form a tower that must be freestanding for three seconds, tossing a water bottle and getting it to land upright on a table five feet away, and sucking candies with a straw and placing them one at a time on straws standing vertically.

This is the same international production that brought the local versions of “The Biggest Loser” and “MasterChef” and will be hosted by versatile actor/model Luis Manzano on January 14 on ABS-CBN.

Willing Willie off air for 2 weeks

“Willing Willie” game show of TV5 and hosted by Willie Revillame will go off air for two weeks beginning today, April 11, while investigation is ongoing on the said controversial March 12 episode. He also expressed disappointments to big companies who pulled out their advertisements like P&G and Mang Inasal among others. The celebrities who expressed their disgust about the incident via Twitter were also threatened that he will sue them in court. Will Willie returns or leave showbiz for good? That’s something worth waiting for, for those who love and hate Willie.

ShaWillie: Shalani Soledad + Willie Revillame

I was able to watch “Willing Willie” after hearing that Pres. Noynoy Aquino’s ex-girlfriend Shalani Soledad was Willie Revillame’s co-host in the said game show. She was indeed very firm and a true Filipina in words and action. I also commend the games in the show, truly fun and entertaining.

But I think Willie is still better off with his game show at ABS-CBN. The later indeed has a broad network here and abroad that reaches millions of Filipinos that really looking for Philippine entertainment and help as well. I saw when Wowowee hold several show abroad and how Filipinos welcome them. Shalani plus Willie plus ABS-CBN, why not? Go, Go, Go, ShaWillie!!!

Willie Revillame's Willing Willie

I never got to watch the pilot episode of ever controversial Willie Revillame’s new show at TV5 “Willing Willie” and even an episode thereafter. I searched the net for the news about the show and learned that it airs Mondays-Fridays @ 6:30pm and 5:00pm on Saturdays. Learned also that it was hot and hit the biggest audience share on the first day.

Kris Aquino leaves Pilipinas Win na Win

The “Queen of All Media” is set to leave her 2 month noontime show “Pilipinas Win na Win” and her last appearance will be on October 1. It was the management decision to replace Kris Aquino and replace her with "Hitmakers" Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison and Nonoy Zuñiga. Will the boys hit the hearts of the viewers? I’ve seen them played a game in an episode of “Wowowee” and it was fun. Would they be still catchy hosting the noontime show itself?

Pilipinas Win na Win IN, Wowowee OUT

“Pilipinas Win na Win” will replace the noontime show “Wowowee” starting this July 31. The new show will be hosted by the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and the Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema Robin Padilla together with Pokwang, Valerie Concepcion and Mariel Rodriguez. It’s exciting to see what this new show has to offer and the giveaways and prizes as well. What happens now to Willie Revillame? News said he will be given a new show. Kind of interesting to see what show is this and will it fits Willie’s personality.

'Wowowee' to go off air; Kris joins new game show

Peace for Willie Revillame & Joey de Leon

After long period of dispute and exchanges of silly words, Willie Revillame (host of Wowowee) and Joey de Leon (host of Eat Bulaga) peacefully settle the past in the recent Supreme Extreme Award last October 17 in Embassy Bar at The Fort. What The Buzz and Startalk can’t do this award giving body unexpectedly did it and both renowned noontime game show hosts are now at peace with each other.

Both comedians attended the award’s night because both of them will receive an award but everything happened spontaneously. At least, that will be an early Christmas gift to the followers of these renowned hosts who continuously help people in their respective game shows.

Aiza Seguerra on "The Singing Bee"

If you are karaoke lovers then this game show, The Singing Bee, is a must see for you. You don’t need to sing in-tune but you need to give the correct song lyrics. The family enjoys watching the show from Mondays to Fridays right after the primetime news on TV of ABS-CBN. Recently, singer Aiza Seguerra bagged twice the P1,000,000 prize making her totals winnings amounts to P2,080,000.

What made me admire this young fellow is that she decided not to return to defend her title to give way to other contestants. With that I gave you two thumbs up and a standing ovation for such an attitude that I hope and pray that politicians will follow your footsteps.
