Jocelyn "Joc-Joc" Bolante & his extradition

Remember Joc-Joc? Former agricultural undersecretary Jocelyn “Joc-Joc” Bolante who left the Philippines due to the very controversial “fertilizer fund scam” is expected to be extradited soon after his request for asylum was denied by the US Court of Appeals.

Philippine Senators are not only wanting Joc-Joc for the fertilizer fund scam but also eyeing his connection on the so-called “swine scam.” They are just waiting for the big day of his coming to be arrested but contrary to that, Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez said the opposite as he has no pending warrant of arrest in Philippine courts.

The home coming of Mr. Bolante is a big relief not only to politicians but moreover to farmers who are victims on the fertilizer fund scam. Their long-wait is over and that may justice be served to them.
