Charice @ David Foster & Friends in Mandalay Bay

In “One and Only Hit-Man David Foster and Friends” concert held in Mandalay Bay Events Center last October 15, Charice wowed her fans in 2 show-stopping performances. She sang a group tribute song to Michael Jackon as well as two other songs "To Love You More" and "All by Myself,” which were both popularized by Celine Dion. I saw the TV report on this concert and Charice was indeed fabulous.

Connects TiVo Premiere to your existing cable service and replaces your old cable box with a stunning HD DVR experience by just plugging into the back of your Premiere your cable card and presto it delivers your cable channels. But it’s not only that. Premiere gives more like delivering on-demand movies, web videos, music and more by tapping through your broadband Internet connection.

Never miss your favorites, that awful. "Cory A Mother To Me" by Francis Uy

I have seen this video on You Tube, “Cory a Mother to Me” by Francis Uy and the lyrics were really great. I can’t help but again admires the late president Cory Aquino for being a mother not only to her siblings but to our nation as well. Until the last breath of her life she thinks nothing but for the welfare of the Filipino people. Happy Mother’s Day Tita Cory and to all the mothers!!!

Ninoy's poem for Cory (I Have Fallen In Love With The Same Woman Three Times)

Pure, unconditional and eternal. Those are some of the words to describe the kind of love Ninoy and Cory had for each other here and in heaven. As I watched all the news coverages and interviews on TV I can’t help but cried, really cried so hard. All the hardships and pains, all the battles fought, they stood for each other and the love even flourished, deepened and grew stronger.

Cory’s life as a mother and as a wife came not like a bed of roses. It is tough to be a wife to someone like Ninoy who fought not only for his family but for all his countrymen. He is a man of honor and integrity that even life he is willing to offer for his country. As a mother to her kids, Cory needed to be stronger and braver. But our beloved Cory did well triumphantly.

An expression of his great love to Cory, Ninoy made a poem entitled “I Have Fallen In Love (With The Same Woman Three Times)” on October 11, 1973 while still at Fort Bonifacio for their 19th wedding anniversary. It is a poem full of words of love and gratitude from a man for his beloved wife. Thanks Mary Joy of Cebu for sharing this video.

For me Cory is not only a former president, a mother and a wife. She is definitely not only an icon of our country’s democracy but also a true and genuine Filipino who had so much love for the country. Her words, prayers and examples may remain in the hearts of every Filipino and that someday Cory will smile on us from heaven because we are able to make her prayers come true.

YouTube & Lyrics of Charice "Note to God" @ Oprah

Charice Pempengco performs her debut single on her third appearance in the popular American talk show’s Oprah Winfrey Show. Her “Note to God” song is partly an emotional prayer whose lyrics are about what one would say in a letter to God. I have seen the YouTube of the said performance and I myself can’t avoid be teary eyed as I listen to it. The lyrics, the melody and how Charice emotionally performed the said song was really very inspiring.

It is a reality indeed that there are so many wrongs that have been happening around the world: poverty, corruption, killings, wars, down economy and more. With that I think this song is very timely and inspiring that we all make our note to God. Let us not only see the great performance of Charice here and the song but moreover the inspiration it brings to make our own note to God amidst everything. Peace & Love to everyone.

Sa Ugoy ng Duyan (Lulling Cradle) lyrics

Hello mommies!!! I am an avid follower of “May Bukas Pa” (There’s Still Tomorrow) and I am really very touched when they play extracts of the song “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan.” Believe me I almost cried every time I heard their version of this song. I dedicate this song to all the mothers in the world and most especially to those kids out there who are longing for a mom's love and for others who ignore or so harsh on their moms. We must always remember that there's nothing pure and tested than a mother's love.

Go The Distance by Michael Bolton

During the Recognition Day of my eldest, there was this portion that all the awardees from Grades 1-5 sang a special song. It was entitled “Go The Distance” by Michael Bolton.

I accompanied her during the 2 day practice at school and watched every step of their practice. On the portion for the group to sing the song it came just very natural that as if I was just listening to an ordinary presentation. But during the special day when all the awardees lined up on stage, wearing their medals and sang the song twice there’s this mix emotions of happiness, proud and hope. I am almost carried away with the performance and almost cried while taking the pictures.

Seeing those kids reaping the fruits of their labor, being my daughter as part of them, gave me more strength and inspiration to do my best in helping my kids achieve their dreams. The emotional and quiet part of the ceremony where teachers and parents were all eyes on those outstanding students rendering this very meaningful and encouraging song of Mr. Bolton.

To my daughter, my hearty congratulations and keep up the good work. Always remember this, in reaching your dreams a big hindrance lies to yourself. You will reap what you sow and you still have a long way to go to get on the finish line. Love yourself and study hard. I want that if the finish line is there to reap the fruits of your labor there is complete happiness in your heart and you will be proud of yourself for what you have achieve and do for yourself. Our love and prayers will always be with you. ♥♥♥
