China milk scare continues

The Bureau of Food and Drugs released on Friday a partial list of milk and milk products in their possession undergoing testing for possible melamine contamination. Due to public demand, BFAD Chief Leticia Barbara Gutierrez released the partial list and advices the public not to purchase the following products until the tests are over for safety precaution.

In addition, the chief advised the public to avoid all milk products labeled “made in China” or “PROC” (People’s Republic of China) and those with Chinese characters.
