Chef Ryan Jaranilla as senior chef in Beijing Olympics

Although, the Philippine Team on the recent 2008 Beijing Olympics were not able to garner the gold for me they are all champions. Our players did the necessary preparations and gave their best in the Olympics. I just hope that like other countries who are giving full support to their athletes the government must find its way to do the same. Not all athletes are like Manny Pacquiao who can afford the best training out of his own pocket. In doing so, the youth will find themselves embracing the goodness and benefits of being involved in sports.

On the other hand, Chef Ryan Jaranilla took part as senior executive chef on the recent Olympics. Born in Iloilo, Chef Ryan through his employer made known about the opportunity to serve as chef for the Olympics wherein all managers were invited to submit their applications. He was chosen among other 10 manager-level applicants over 250 others. Congrats Chef Ryan!!!
