These are just some of the things that will be answered in the succeeding broadcasts of the show so keep watching.

Koreans in the Philippines

In the recent news, Korean population in the Philippines is continuously to rise especially in cities like Baguio, Quezon City and Pampanga. There are subdivisions tagged as “Korean towns” mainly because they are predominantly occupied by Korean nationals.

Aside from friendly and warm Filipinos, they find it easy engaging business in the Philippines and that the climate is great. Though there are Korean businesses that went to bankruptcy still they preferred to settle in the Philippines for diverse reasons.

Korean establishments especially those dealing in food can at least enable us to have a taste of Korean food without leaving our country.

My Girl of Kim Chiu & Gerald Anderson

MY GIRL STARS

Gerald Anderson & Kim Chiu / Lee Dong Wook & Lee Da Hae

ABS-CBN Network did the remake of the successful Korean Drama “My Girl” of Lee Dong Wook , Lee Da Hae, and others wherein the famous tandem of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson play the top roles. Said drama is bound to end having its last week of broadcast.

I watched the original version of this drama from beginning to end and the stars were really great at their respective roles. Lee Dong Wook even gave his Philippine fans a visit and that was a big success. Every where he goes the venue was really jam-packed with the shouting and supportive fans. He was really a good looking guy.

The Philippine version may not be as great as the original but I could say that Kim and Gerald gave justice to their roles considering that they are not yet veteran actor and actress. Tira-Tira!!!

Korea's Lee Eon dead @ 27

A Korean model turned actor, Lee Eon, died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27. He collided into the guard rail of the elevated roadway in Hanam-dong and died at the scene.

• Birth name: Park Sang-min
• Hometown: Busan, South Korea
• Career: Model turned actor
• TV Dramas: Coffee Prince, Who Are You?, Strongest Chil-woo

I’m on my rounds to my blogger friends when I came across the news. I remembered Philippines’ celebrities who also died at young age like Rico Yan and Mico Sotto to name some. It is really a very sad moment and time of mourning for the fans of Lee Eon and most especially to his family. May his soul rest in peace. +++
