Ingredients:
- 1 large pata or pig's feet (about 1 kilo, clean)
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 head garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup dried banana blossoms, soaked in water
- 1 laurel or bay leaf
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Clean pata and boil in vinegar, water and garlic. Lower heat, simmer until pig's feet tender. Add more water as needed. Put in remaining ingredients, simmer 5 minutes more. Serve hot with rice and chili-garlic sauce.
