- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
Nutritional Information:
Mussels are low in calories, containing just 119 kcal per 100g (the same as peas and potatoes). Because we eat them slowly from the shell, we don't tend to eat huge quantities of them. They're a great diet food!
Mussels are renowned for being an excellent source of minerals. They're particularly high in iron and zinc, and also contain phosphorus, folic acid and calcium. They're also rich in Vitamin B12.
Mussels are nourishing and refreshing and contain a good dose of iodine, so there's no reason not to enjoy them regularly.
