Rabusa on former AFP chiefs' anomalies
If all these allegations are properly supported with hard evidence, I salute former military budget officer George Rabusa for divulging the information so that the government can make stern measures to protect the institution’s money. President Aquino has a lot of things to do when it comes to corruption. It seems that it is big and deeply rooted in many agencies of the government.
I just can’t help but ask myself how accounting is being done on the money in different government agencies and institutions. So sad to think that money is the reason for many people to aspire for public office. Personally, I don’t believe that money is the root of all evil. It is the evil that lies within oneself that make him to do evil.

Super proud Mommy
January is the Academic Week in my daughter’s school, St. Matthew College. Her Math teacher chose her to be one of the contestants for Math Quiz Bee last January 25 and she was able to bag the 1st Place. Right now she is preparing for the second elimination round of MTAP-Rizal (Division Level) together with her classmate Patricia Sioson for Grade 4 Level. Their team was able to pass the first elimination round last January 13 at Taytay Elementary School bagging the 6th Rank from the Top 10.
On January 27, they had their Speech Fest 2011 and she was a contestant in the Tula and Declamation contests. She had “Gumising Ka, Pilipino” and “The Two Standards” as her pieces respectively. She was able to get the 1st Place in the Tula but nothing in the declamation contest. She was a bit confused and frustrated after not winning in the declamation contest. But after hearing good words from her fellow students and teachers as well fade away those questions and looking forward again on her next Speech Fest.
Seeing my daughter on stage performing and competing really made me feel so good, happy and proud of her. She always like to compete and really active at school activities. I’ve been hearing good things from teachers about her, as a student and as a person. I just always told her that to give her best in any simple and big thing she does at school. Being chosen is already something to be happy and proud of and winning may come or not.
My hearty congratulations baby! Keep up the good work. Continue accomplishing many things in life as many as you can especially your dreams. We’re always here for you.

TABASCO® Original Red
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.
Why do others use “heat” onto their food? Are they only after to add a spicy taste to what they are eating? Or does the spice enhance the flavor of the food to enjoy every bite of it?
Honestly, I never put heat on my food before. I cannot resist the hot it brings to my mouth. With the influence of my husband, I got to taste the heat onto a pizza at home. We have this TABASCO® Original Red at home and it was hubby’s favorite. Believe it or not, I got to appreciate more the pizza with Tabasco on it. The ingredients became much tastier maybe because of the salt, vinegar and red pepper of the spice. You can tell the different of eating a pizza with a plain tomato or banana catsup as compared with TABASCO® Original Red. Since then, I also put Tabasco onto my fried egg, pork, fish, sandwiches, and more. Not only that, I add it to my sauce dishes like “Beef Caldereta” and “Menudo” to make the whole dish yummier. Beef Caldereta is a Philippine dish that usually serves with a heat from small red peppers. After tasting TABASCO® Original Red, I experimented to add it to my recipe and it was a success. We enjoyed every ingredient of it from the veggies, to the meat, down to its sauce. You can check out Game-Day Party Menu for some simple ideas and recipes and enjoy more eating food everyone loves. Also, discover why pizza is worth eating with TABASCO® Original Red on their Pizza Perfected page.
Just some bits of information about TABASCO® Original Red:
• Original Red was the first sauce introduced by the McIlhenny family back in 1868 and continues to be their most popular sauce of 6 total sauces.
• TABASCO® Original Red is not about heat for heat’s sake. It’s about what heat does to the flavor of food. The simple combination of salt, red pepper, and vinegar are perfected in a 3-year aging process that produces a hot sauce with the uncanny ability to bring the most out of your food. Other hot sauces add their own specific flavor to food. TABASCO® Original Red simply enhances the flavor of food.
Try TABASCO® Original Red and enjoy every bite of the food you eat.

Simplifying annulment in the Philippines
House Bill 3952 (An Act Recognizing Spousal Violence, Infidelity and Abandonment as Presumptive Psychological Incapacity Constituting a Ground for the Annulment of Marriage) authored by Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares was created hoping that it will make annulment more accessible even to poor couples. As compared to a 10-year renewable marriage contract, I preferred this kind of bill in resolving troubled marriages. Under HB 3952, infidelity, abandonment or spousal violence is presumed indications of psychological incapacity. On the other hand, Atty. Evalyn Ursua disagrees and such is disputable by presenting contrary evidence.

Life & Me
At times I wanted to take a break, even for a week in a place like a hotel where I will just sleep, eat, relax while watching TV. Wishful thinking! Hoping that wish comes true. But nonetheless, I know and understand how life goes and I just want to accomplish as many as I could and do hope my love ones will understand my shortfalls. Kind of sentimental here.
Hello world! Enjoy the rest of the day and may your week and the coming days to come give you successes, accomplishments and satisfactions to you and to others. God bless!

Nicole joins MTAP 2011 Elimination Round for Rizal
My daughter Nicole was chosen as one of the representatives (Grade 4 Level) of her school for the coming MTAP Elimination Round for Rizal on January 13. We were kind of excited and nervous at the same time because it was kind of short notice. I just told my daughter not to pressure herself, just try to study her book and some reference materials. There are some topics she was not familiar with but I’m trying to tutor her.
I am planning to watch the said activity to support her and let her know that I am one of the proud mommies in the crowd. Good luck baby!

Free Boudreaux's Butt Paste for your baby
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.
Baby’s skin is so delicate. I remember when my kids got diaper rash way back then and freak out from the itchiness and pain it caused. An old friend (High School batchmate) of mine also shared her experiences with her baby now thru Facebook about the same thing. At first, we’re only talking about the scientific method and Chinese calendar in determining the gender of a baby and now she had her beautiful and angelic Liyah, our batch’s Facebook baby.
Like other babies, Liyah has occasional diaper rash but her mom always has her ever effective Boudreaux's Butt Paste. My friend can’t last to see the angelic face of her daughter turns to red face and yells because of diaper rash. She told me that Boudreaux helps her a lot at home and even during family trips, which they do every weekend. I learned from her that this paste is pediatrician recommended and specifically formulated by a pharmacist with direction from a respected pediatrician to provide effective diaper rash care. It goes on and cleans off easily, available in convenient sizes, flip top cap (tubes), handy travel size and has pleasant scent. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste was featured on Oprah Show, Tonight Show, Today Show, People Magazine, ESPN and While You Were Out TLC.
Want to check how can Boudreaux’s Butt Paste works on your baby’s diaper rash? All you need to do is send a 6 x 9 self-addressed, stamped envelope to Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, 1600 Brian Drive, Columbus, IN 47201. It is available in convenient sizes of 1oz, 2oz, 3oz and 4oz tubes, 16oz jar and single foil pack perfect to suit your baby’s needs at home or out. So hurry and visit their site to get that free sample.
