36th Metro Manila Film Festival

Family is thinking of what to watch among the eight film entries in the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival. The festival started with a parade today, Friday, taking off at the Mall of Asia grounds, along the stretch of Roxas Boulevard, and ended at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park. The 8 colorful floats (karosas) representing the 8 official film entries in the festival are:

• the joint force productions of GMA Films, Imus Productions, M-Zet, APT Entertainment and OctoArts Films’ “Si Agimat sa Mundo ni Enteng Kabisote” which featured mainly Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. and Vic Sotto;
• Star Cinema’s “Ang Tanging Ina Mo Rin (Last na ‘To)” which presented Ai Ai de las Alas and her costars;
• Star Cinema and Cine Media’s “Dalaw” which carried Kris Aquino and Diether Ocampo and some of their support stars;
• RVQ Productions’ “Father Jejemon” where Dolphy stood by until the end of the event;
• Cine Mabuhay’s “Rosario” which gave the queue of kibitzers Jennylyn Mercado, Yul Servo and Dennis Trillo;
